Lauren Colvin

Lauren Colvin is an Graduate research assistant at the Social Science Research Center. Lauren has investigated numerous projects in the area of Social Psychology. Specifically, experimental studies examining social network influence on romantic relationships, courtship persistence, stalking, and conformity. She is also a member of Psi Chi national honor society, and is currently serving as Treasurer. Lauren is now working with Nell Valentine on the Youth Tobacco Survey.
Matt Douglas

Matt Douglass is a graduate research assistant at the Social Science Research Center. Matt is a second year Master’s student in Experimental Psychology and has been involved in several experimental studies in the area of eyewitness memory and metamemory. Matt is currently working on Youth Tobacco Survey data analysis for the Mississippi Tobacco Data research team.
Meredith Webster

Meredith Webster is a Graduate Research Assistant at the Social Science Research Center. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Experimental Psychology at Mississippi State University. She is working with Dr. McMillen on the Social Climate Survey of Tobacco Control. Meredith has also conducted research in the area of Cognitive Psychology including eyewitness memory research. She plans on furthering her education after her Master’s degree by entering a doctoral program in Cognitive Psychology.
Katie Robinson

Katie Robinson is a graduate student currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Educational Psychology. She graduated from Mississippi State this past December with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications, public relations emphasis, and a double minor in General Business Administration and Geography. Currently, Katie is working with the Social Science Research Center by creating a public relations campaign for the Mississippi Tobacco Data research group led by Dr. McMillen.
